3. Seller Responsibilities
If you register as a seller on MerchLine, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions and images of your merchandise
- Ship items within the timeframe stated in your listing
- Respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner
- Comply with all applicable tax and business regulations
- Not list counterfeit, stolen, or unauthorized official merchandise as fan-made
- Maintain a minimum quality standard for all items sold
4. Vendor Responsibilities
If you register as an event vendor, you additionally agree to:
- Accurately represent your business and the items you sell at events
- Fulfill all orders placed through the event ordering system
- Maintain appropriate business licenses and permits for in-person sales
- Comply with venue rules and local regulations at event locations
5. Buyer Protections
As a buyer on MerchLine, you are entitled to:
- Receive items that match their listing descriptions
- A refund or resolution if an item is not as described or not received
- Transparent pricing with no hidden fees at checkout
- The ability to leave honest reviews of your purchases
Disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved directly. If no resolution is reached, you may contact our support team for mediation.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items may not be listed or sold on MerchLine:
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Official artist merchandise sold without authorization
- Items that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
- Illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials
- Items that promote hate, violence, or discrimination
- Recalled or unsafe consumer products
7. Intellectual Property
MerchLine respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, and rights holders. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their merchandise does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property.
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated, please contact us with details of the infringement. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing listings and suspending accounts.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting the other party directly through MerchLine's messaging system. If informal resolution fails:
- Either party may request mediation through our support team
- Any remaining disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
- Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitrations are not permitted
9. Limitation of Liability
MerchLine acts as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of listings or user content
- Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you have paid to MerchLine in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of MerchLine after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
